HBTA (uk) has been set up to maintain the high standards of integrity that Master Dechan Jueren expected from his teachers. Since his passing in 2011 it has been left to each individual teacher to do this.

Howevero other Buddhist Lineages in a similar situation have allowed their standards to drop, and soa  group of Uk Hanmi teachers decided to form HBTA(UK) to provide a structure to avoid this from happening.

All members agree to follow a code of conduct.
